What is Battleforce Apocalypse?

Battleforce Apocalypse or BA is a miniatures war game taking place in the year 2034.

Story
The 3rd world war, a war so great that less than a third of the human population survive and while still recovering, Infested Meteors land in almost every land mass in the lower hemisphere spawning hundreds of thousand "colonizers" of an alien race known as the Voltrascx, Korean androids who survived the great war wreak havoc almost everywhere in the world and Beastmen, born in labs with mixed DNA, roam around seeking greater purpose in life and try to survive against those who would attack them. Locked in combat, all these races know that only apocalypse is at hand unless they can survive through this dark, dark time.

The Races
The Humans are scattered amongst earth and form factions based on heritage.
The Norse stand tall with an axe in one hand and a big gun in the other. They excel at close combat and are fast, tough and strong. They survived because Voltrascx are weak in the cold and androids most of the time malfunction in the rough weather.
The Templar are formed of Great Britain and are armored well and their complete faith in god causes them to go to great lengths to spread their word and smite their enemies. Their warriors willpower is unparallelled and their pain threshold so great some just shrug off bullet wounds and burns.
The United States of America survived through technology, tactics and numbers. Their numerous foot soldiers hold durable and powerful weapons and aircraft fly over the battle and provide supporting fire from mounted guns.

The Voltrascx are the scourge of worlds and the destroyer of civilizations their endless swarms coming from hives of their large, mars-like home world in a close by solar system. Although only the queens of the hives and the mysterious Empress seem to have sentience intelligence all the members of the Voltrascx have instinctive "civilized" skills such as farming, cooking and rank.

The Androids are the Koreans answer to overwhelming numbers coming from china. These autonomous robots do not feel mercy, pain or love. They conquer in the name of Korea and although the Koreans were wiped out in the great war, the leftover Androids still have their main objective: Kill anything that inst Korean. Androids also have uploaded schematics for factories to produce more if their numbers dwindle low and no other factories are left.

The Beastmen are hybrids that were born in labs to create "Supersoldiers from what we have here already. Beastmen forces include the most numerous Homo Sapiens Ursus or Bearman who are strong bear people who's minds are primitive and bear-like. The Homo Sapiens Aves, bird men who fly high and shoot down on the battlefield and Homo Sapiens Feline who are experts of stealth and are agile.
The Beastmen roam the forests and wild places and search for a meaning to their existence. Androids and Voltrascx attack beastmen without consciousness but Humans see them as mistakes and often attack on sight without thought.


The Game
The game takes place on a table or "Gaming board" which may compose of just a few boxes and books or may be extremely detailed and realistic miniature terrain. The game is usually played by 2 or more players and each player has a "Battleforce". Whole battle forces can be bought or just individual squads and vehicles may be purchased for a custom Battleforce. Each Battleforce consist of units which can be vehicles or soldiers. Battleforces fight battles (Hence the name) and can be of a size of 300c or "Credits" which are the currency in the game or even 2000c or in special games 10000+.
